Roll Services

Roll overhaul

Our overhaul process includes a complete teardown and inspection of all components to include bearing housings and subcomponents, NDT, and journal inspection. Upon completion, our customer receives a detailed inspection report that includes all measured data in relation to the fit specifications they require. This report will also include repair recommendations for our customers to consider along with prices and lead times.

Upon completion of customer elected repairs and a QC check the roller is then re-assembled, lubricated, balanced, and painted to the customers desired specifications.

Roll Journal replacement

The journal replacement service is our specialty. We have the capability to replace journals on covered rollers and non-covered rollers weighing up to 60,000 lbs. Using top of the line CAD (SolidWorks & Autodesk) we can reverse engineer the current configuration for replacement as well as re-design journals to adapt to new conditions.

New Roll

We can manufacture a new roll up to 30,000 LBS which would include most wire & felt rolls, reel spools, broke conveyor rolls and smaller press rolls.

Balancing

With our Schenck HM6B three plane balancer we can balance rollers or any other rotating equipment to a G1.0 specification at up to 10,000 FPM depending on the size and length of the roller. Max OD is 80” and max length is 400”.

New roll components

With our wide range of CNC capabilities we can manufacture new roll components such as bearing housings, housing covers, and subcomponents such as retainers and water flingers.
